Family was visiting and wanted to go in this place. It's not somewhere I would have typically stopped by. I ended up loving the books in here. The person working is amazing, I'm pretty sure he has read most everything in there. His recommendation was spot on. Highly recommend stopping by. I left with two for now but I'm sure I will be back.

The ship’s staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The shop has a fantastic selection of comics/trades/hard covers from smaller publishers that they do a great job of highlighting by placing them in visible locations. They also put works by creators of color and books that amplify lgbtq voices in prominent displays. It’s nice to see a shop that flips the placement of popular superheroes (they do have a fantastic selection of Batman and the rest) and indie/smaller publishers and creators.

Great staff! Always super friendly and ready to offer a suggestion. The Swap has a great selection of comics, and if they don't have something on the shelf, they are more than happy to order you a copy! If you are into comics (or gaming), this is the place to go in Happy Valley.

I came across this shop during a short visit to State College. Super friendly staff, great selection. Nice addition to the downtown area. Will definitely visit again

I stopped here on a whim after deciding to explore State College. They had a large collection of comics, some board games, some TTRPG stuff, and Magic cards. I've never read any comics before and the employee working was very nice and knowledgeable. On their recommendation, I picked up a Wonder Woman book and really enjoyed it. The other customers were also super nice! Anyway if I come back to the area I hope to stop in again.

I have been coming here for years. Every time, the employees are So helpful and kind. Today, I brought my 9 year old for the first time. He was delighted with the Studio Ghibli options. Now, it'll be a family stop every time we are in town.

This place was awesome! On a random business trip through State College, I looked up comic shops and stopped here and was not disappointed. Massive selection. Amazing customer service. And super knowledgeable too! Best part was the people in and out while we were there. Seems to be a strong sense of community.
